PS3 controller problem

Somehow my controller layout has become messed up. All the buttons seem to have been remapped and i cant seem to fix it. Like i move the right stick and it will only move foward and back. If i press R1/L1 it turns. If i press X it rotates. Anyone know how to fix this? i tried other games and it works fine. (On PC)

If worst comes to worst just reset to default settings and remap I didn't have a problem like this before except when I fooled around with my crossbars and the best course of action was to just reset it and start from scratch.

Didn't work still messed up. I tried unplugging the controller and plugging it back it but now some of the buttons have returned but still messed up. Thumb pad moves in directions now instead of moving targeting cursor, but left thumb stick still doesn't move, right thumb stick still messed up and instead of looking it moves forward and back. I remember this problem in beta and i have forgoten how it was fixed. Someone out there must have a fix, help me obi-one your my only hope. On PC by the way.

last person I know who had issues like this had to
remove the drivers from the device manager,
restart the PC
then reinstall the drivers

and yes the controller was working find with other games. not sure what caused this to happen but nothing else worked

It's a simple fix. go to your config and somewhere in controller setting all the way at bottom there is a calibrate button push that do as it says and done. you will of course need to get there with your keyboard and mouse.

Ok all these things didnt work. So i remembered i made a backup of my conf file through the launcher and did a restore and it fixed it. So i recommend everyone to back up your conf file through the launcher regularly. Thx for the help. ^^

good advice. gonna do that right now
