I'll have to try it today when I get home then.I thought it would too, and argued with someone on the forums about it until I tested it myself. And I was wrong. As long as raging strikes/convert is down, infinite flare is higher dps. The only time that the normal fire II rotation trumps it is when you a.) have raging strikes/convert up or b.) are fighting something like 12 mobs or more, or c.) have to move and hard casting flare isn't really feasible.
The other issue is since flare is supposed to drain your mp, this isn't really a rotation that the devs intended (speculation). Because of this, its always at risk to get nerfed.

Its actually alot of fun. I use it in non-speedrunning dungeons. Its not really feasible in brayflox because for almost all of the pulls, you will have convert, or stuff will be dead already. It also sucks when the mob you were targeting with a hard cast flare ends up dying before you finish your cast bar, which screws up the whole rotation. But once you get used to the tic timing, its alot of fun. Becomes its own mini game sort of![]()

Yeah Infinite Flare is the best AoE rotation in the game hands down. Mobs just melt.
