In the latest poll, we were asked about the point allotment system and we had three options to choose, as follows:
The bonus point allotment system was intended to be a means by which players could customize their character's individuality. The free distribution of attribute points has given rise to certain problems, however, such as compatibility issues with the Armoury system, and the lowered effectiveness of the attributes themselves. In particular, this lowered effectiveness of attributes also extends its influence to items, and is therefore something that we feel must be rectified. To do so, we are currently looking into the following two options:
1.-Removal of the bonus point system, and the addition of automatic allotment of attribute points based on class.
2.-Removal of physical levels, and the addition of class-specific allotment of attribute points for each class based on rank.
3.-Would you prefer option 1, option 2, or the current system?
I would liked having the third option like this:
Automatic point allotment of every class with a memory type of a previously chosen set, if you have a Gladiator with your attributes in VIT STR and DEX setup, when you instantly change your class to conjurer your allotment changes into a previously setup you made with that class, like having all your points in place in INT, PIE and MND.
(same goes to abbilities and weapon skills allocation)
BUT leaving you the freedom to allocate your stats as you see fit, like having your gladiator oriented on a more damage dealing style with less DEX than STR, or DEX based stat to hit more often as tank, or having a bigger MP pool orientation, or as a conjurer having more PIE than MND for more accuracy or more MP or having better VIT to last longer when you are soloing, well i dont know the current system lets you have your character in a way you want, and thats something that at least for me makes me feel this game concept is fresh and is improving the current MMO's of this type.
They could make a semi free allocation point system to lighten the current uncertainty of what to expect of certain class, and improve the system so the attributes work as they should be, i dont know i just want to hear some ideas , i think this is a very important part of the game that should be discussed in a constructive manner to get the best as we can of the game if what they said about they were going to take feedback from us is true.
