Miqote in charge?

Something I noticed while talking to a friend, but every race is represented in one form or another with leadership positions except the Miqote. Are we just not trustworthy enough to be a leader of a guild/city-state? Or are we just way too aloof that when we get offered a leadership position we turn up our tails and walk away. I mean, there are plenty of Miqote who are involved in our class quests and such, but where are the Miqote leaders? I demand racial equality dammit!

From a Lore perspective, Miqote don't really make sense when it comes to being guild masters and such. They are not domesticated, and for the most part don't seem to care for such things.

The real question is how Hyurs got their grubby fingers into everything.

What can I say? We get around. Plus, it helps when we're generally better educated than the other races.

And with all the silly customs about alpha males gathering every available female they can get their pervy claws onto, or just the relative lack of males relative to females, someone's got to step up and keep them them lonely miqo'te company.

The Arcanist Guild leader is a male Miqo'te. The one we see in the actual guild is just the acting leader, since he's always off on field studies.

Was gonna say, how has that not come up yet? It's more a matter of lore that miqo'te tend to gather in the smaller tribal groups such as the U in Forgotten Springs. Those that do leave the tribes for the city probably are not terribly leadership minded, though there are the noted exceptions above in the guilds, and to add another R'ashaht Rhiki has a decent post as Storm Commander (not at the very top of the Maelstrom, but not bad either).
