Could we get some Chrono Trigger characters in this game?

At lest a event where we can get vanity equipment.

This would be strictly fan service, and awesome.

Yeah Release that Chrono break ggame allready which has been licensed forever ago.

But.... unless we get a chance to travel back in time to before Bahamut, there nevere will be anything like it.

And I still have that nagging feeling that our eorzea is the "abyssea" version of old eorzea. where things went wrong, that didnt go wrong in the other eorzea.

So maybe look forward to Chrono Cross rather than Chrono trigger (those mirror knights do resemble certain mobs in Chrono Cross)

I don't know about that. I mean, they had a DQ cross-over event of all things. It's a lot less of a stretch to put nods to Chrono Trigger in at some point. Hell, you know what? I hope one of the events at the Gold Saucer is a Gato trial battle. XD

Chrono Trigger is not of the Final Fantasy franchise, even though it is perhaps one of the best RPGs Squaresoft ever put out. We will never see CT enemies in FFXIV. The only exception to this would be if SE decided to do a new Chrono Trigger game and thus do a cross over event (like with FFXIII: LR, FFXI, and Dragon Quest). Otherwise, it's no-go.

And trust me, I hope SE wises up and puts out either a continuation to the Chrono Trigger brand, or a revamp of Chrono Trigger. To be honest, it completely baffles me why this has not happened yet. There was a guy some years ago that had started on a Chrono Trigger reboot, sadly, SE made him cease and desist. Really sad too, considering how good it looked at the time. Now with current gen capabilities it would be sure to look even better.
