Guy seriously, i am not new with this, i played FFXI for 6 years and was something similar but lately, all oriental people (koreans too) seems every time more and more xenophobic, and i cant take it. U said to do what i can do... Autotranslate if what i can do and really i do it to be polite. I learned english (not too good but enough) to can talk with people around the world, and now, a group of people feels like that is not enough, that i have to translate it on a website and paste my thoughts in their language (i dont care if is japanese, korean, german or mongolian) becouse lots of people like to see Japanese Kanjis and like to translate your english to their japanese. And every time u do it, they become more and more lazy or xenophobic. They plan me to translate all to their native language, i can translate a Nice to meet you just to end party and be polite, but to be kicked coz i dont translate all their chatting, or coz they decide not to talk english (they learn in school) seriously, i am dissapointed someone still defend them being so close to all.
Now with the sweeping generalizations of entire peoples that is at the root of racism. Look I don't know what your tongue is, but if it shares an alphabet with English and has a germanic or latin base it is not quite the same thing as going from Japanese to English. Yes they learn some English in school, but my god man do you honestly think it is a xenophobic conspiracy taking place just because they don't speak fluent English at every second?

This isn't meant as an insult to Japanese people but take a stroll down a street in Tokyo and see all the crudely translated English slogans people carry on T-shirts (of course it is the same with American/Europeans and their Japanese/Chinese script tattoos that are often laughably incorrectly used). They learn it in school but many struggle with it, especially because they don't speak it everyday and as part of their daily business in most cases. Not near to the extent that English is used in Western Europe.

I don't "like to see Japanese Kanjis", but when I went to Palestine/Jordan/Egypt I found the same thing that an expectation of a universal English is not going to get you far. Same with Italy, it was nothing like the rest of Europe (at least in Milan where I worked for a short time) the people there "refused to speak English" even though they too learned it in school. Not necessarily because they were rude but because they don't know well it enough/practice enough to be comfortable in it.
Learning another language is very difficult, just like it is obviously difficult for them to learn English, but to play a game (maybe not complex instances like Darkhold at least before strategies are well known, but the majority of the time) you can make by with a little effort. That was my point.
