It is good to search for specific classes in specific zones to send them tells for materia meld, asking them to craft something and fast invites for FATEs and many other things

It also would not help against RMT tells, they would just teleport throught the world with a bot that /tell to everyone they meet.

Not at all, its a "SE remove this because its hardly used and would limit the RMT's ability to send out mass tells" thread.
