    Is there any tank guide for T9 ?

    In order to save my teammates time, I wonder if anybody know any text guide of T9 tank?
    Our team is on weekly schedule to practice T9 right now, but the meeting time is very limited per week.
    Only want to make sure first of what is a good timing to use defend buff after phase-3 onward. I want to be able to learn buff timing ahead before actually reach it. Because when MT die, party wipe. and I hate to fail the party even if it is the first time to reach there, so I trend to get information ahead before reaching new phase. Is there anybody can help? if no guide available, could you mind make a short explanation of the timing that you do use your buff during p3, p4 that is a success run?

    Also, any extra tip would be cool.

    That one only show Pld 's CD usage for Phase-1. so I wonder if from phase-2 onward, there is no any precise part that need to be specific for cd and just use them when the tank see fit? I think the boss still use Raven Beak after phase-3 too, but there is no shown for boss Raven Beak sequence after phase-1 there.

    Nael stops using Ravensbeak (and Raven's Claw) after phase 1. He replaces it with Bahamut's Claw for phase 3 onward. Phase 3 he uses it twice in a row, where in phase 4 he uses it 6(?) times in a row. Both phases he uses them at set intervals so they're very predictable, much like Ravensbeak in P1.

    Bahamut's Claw is always there since P1, but it was weak in that phase, P3 (heaven fall) it become 3 hit combo. on final phase it become 5 hit combo (you need CD for this) the timing for Bahamut's Claw in final phase is right after Bahamut's Favor and right after the beam thing that your team have to group up (forgot the name), then the rotation is repeat. I pop Sentinal + forsight on first one and Bulwak + Rampart on second. you can also have OT voke the boss to share Bahamut's Claw hit.

    I use HG for 2nd heaven Fall, just to give healer easier time to dodge heavenfall and Super Nova. (we skip 3rd heaven on my group, if your group still have 3rd heaven fall I recommend you pop HG there if you MTing.)

    this is from my perspective, it might not be applicable since I solo tank T9

    Phase 3: heaven's fall

    I tank near the party, the healers stand by me in case they pull hate from Ghost. 1st ghost drops, pop a cooldown. Provoke to tag the ghost when it drops, dump everything on it, including LB3. When the ghost reach <50% of it's health it'll stop attacking and start casting binding chain, it is safe to move out at this point. The reason I do this is so that melees can continue DPS Darnus while the range work on finishing the ghost.

    2nd Heaven's fall happens, I use tempered will so I can hold darnus in place for melee to DPS. If your DPS isnt fast enough to push it's advisable to hold until the 2nd ghost drops. do the same, but you'll need to burn a good cooldown for this because no LB, you might take 2 tail whips during this time. After ghost immediately push darnus into last phase or you'll have to deal with a 3rd heaven's fall.

    phase 3's bahamut claw is a joke, you don't really need cooldowns for these, if you are solo tanking you'll want to save the CDs for the ghost and final phase.

    Phase 4: Bahamut's favor

    Going into last phase you'll see Darnus cast "bahamut's favor", thats the telltale sign that a claw is coming, pop a good cooldown (i use sentinel). Majority of the phase is like a dance with fire ins and outs and thunderstrucks and dynamos you can read that up on the guide posted. Now the 2nd claw comes right after Thermiotic Beam, this is very important because you won't have shields/skin/full health going in, so make sure you burn at least 2 cooldowns for this (usually rampart and foresight). The rest of the phase will be divebombs and meteor streams, after that the phase repeats itself. Darnus casts 2nd favor, claw follows, you might need to burn HG during this point since all mitigation skills will be on cooldown.

    Its advisable to finish darnus off within 3 favors or you'll be hitting enrage time.

    She will never use Bahamut's Claw during P1, it's not till after megaflare/during Heavensfall that she begins using it. Ravensbeak and Ravensclaw(the cleave) are her main moves during P1 and are replaced, just as rhemi1 said.

    Thank you. Those tip are helpful. We should reach p3 today.

    I like how posts answer in specific forum tend to be more knowledgeable than general section.

    -May i ask a little further? If first claw go with 2 buff and second claw with another 2 buff. Then you mention third claw to go with HG. Then what about 4th and 5th claw. Will cd pop back in time?
    Because count from 3 favors there should be 6 claws totally. (since you said that during 1 favor will have 2 claws coming)

    -I m little confuse when trying to learn from video about how does the MT should move in phase-3 and phase-4. They move in and move out often, which I couldn't find any other trigger rather than Heaven Fall. So everybody should move to center for repel when it coming, and then after that during whole p3 and p4, sometimes MT stay center, sometimes stay corner. How should I know when to stay corner or center?

    final phase is very dynamic in terms of movement and position but you'll want to tank in the middle in general.
