    Titan EX Tanking tips

So I've ran a whole bunch of Titan EX just for practice on DF for when my FC decides to go up for a serious run. I'm playing PLD by the way.
My problem with Titan EX is during the adds phase.
Whenever I become OT for that phase, I can never pick up the adds correctly.
This is what I've tried so far.
    Titan summons adds,
    - Halone on the first one
    - Run to other one, Circle of Scorn/Spirits Within
    - Target first add, shield lob, switch target halone(non comboed), and repeat until both adds are together then Flash.
And yes Shield Oath is on.

I'm always able to pick them up and after a few seconds I lose aggro to the healers, and everything just blows up from there with so many things going on at the same time.

Bombs pop up, Landslides, adds hitting on Healers, MT getting Mountain Bustered, etc.

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

CoS doesn't actually give much aggro. you'd be better off to RoH #1, shield lob #2, then do a few flashes with CoS thrown in after the first. then just do your RoH Combo, rotating between the two targets.

The reason why I used CoS/Spirits Within for #2 is that when I get to #2, I'm still in GCD, and trying to grab them as fast as possible. So I guess that's a bad idea?
I'll have to try that tip next time I get in. Thank you!

The way I do it works for single tanking or off tanking. After titan lands and reaches the MT start your halone combo then pop FoF and move to where the first add spawns. Hit halone on the add and immediately run to the next add. Provoke the add and use an uncomboed halone > CoS > flash > spirits > spam flash until adds die. Depending on how fast you get to the second add you may not even need provoke. I also pop rampart and tempered will when the bombs spawn to make it easier for the healers and to avoid any stray landslides from the adds.

Alternatively if you have a melee in the party you can have that person tank the 2nd add before you voke and combo. There are other ways that require less movement but this method has super high snap aggro.

If you need even higher snap aggro and you're confident you won't die you can swap some tanking accessories with dps accessories but that's overkill.

What is the benefit of an uncomboed halone?

I believe it's still one of your highest enmity options, more than a Shield Lob. The enmity multiplier happens whether you combo or not.

Buffed halone the first then Spirits plus UNbuffed halone the second.

Flash cos flash them both. Then 1-2-3 the add DPS are killing.

Is that only true for Halone? I've tried using an uncombo'd Savage Blade a few times during my leveling but it didn't move the enmity bars at all. I thought I tried with Halone as well, but maybe I didn't. That led me to believe that the enmity add effect was tied to the chain like the dps ones are.

It works. The only bad part of halone is the emnity registers after the animation is done. So for grabbing a single add fast I preload fast. Then use swift SW then halone.

when i mentioned RoH as the opener in mine, i meant a charged one. meaning when he lands after heart, just do the first two in your combo so it'll be ready for adds.
