there are no cleaves starting from Heaven's fall phase onwards, Darnus only does auto attack, bahamut's claw which are single target moves, as well as Chariot and Dynamo, which you should already be aware of in the first phase.

in fact, some strategies during the last phase involve everyone standing right infront of Darnus as if tanking him so to allow the person with the thunderstruck debuff to go behind darnus while Dynamo goes off, as well as stacking for Scourge buff/debuff. So yes, it's completely safe to stand infront of darnus during heaven's fall phase and last phase, you will however, need to be at accuracy cap in order to be able to hit him reliably from the front (acc cap for T9 is 515).

For me, I do the last phases as follows. Starting from the return of Nael.

    fast blade
    savage blade
    tempered will
    rage of halone
    fast blade
    savage blade
    rage of halone
    fight or flight
    fast blade
    convalescence
    savage blade
    foresight
    rage of halone
    shield lob add
(if distant location: shield lob add again)
    spirits within
    circle of scorn
combo repeat till fire aoe skill
By this time the dragon is as good as dead for us and Nael is already close to P4.

Move, follow the regular tactics and do your usual tanking. As for my cooldown rotation on the following claws:

    Claw 1: Rampart
    Claw 2: Sentinel
    Claw 3: Rampart
    Claw 4: Hallowed Ground
    Claw 5: Rampart
    Claw 6: Sentinel
    Boss dead.

Claw 1, 3 and 5 don't really hurt that much. So you might even let those CD's go there. Outside of those moments, incoming damage is low. There's little need for CD's. As there's no cleaving, there's no need to turn the boss away from group mates. Better yet, for the fire in you're going to want to have them stacked on you. Only exception is after the 2nd divebomb 1 and 2nd divebomb 3. Then you want to be standing center by yourself till Nael crashed down on you.

Solo tank relies on pushing at certain points. If you can't push at these points with 5 dps, someone is heavy.

    P1
    Beak 1: Rampart
    Beak 2: Sentinel
Beak 3: Rampart+Bulwark+Awareness+Convalescence (Bulwark should be used during casting bar so it's up to get the cleave timed with ascent explosion)
    Beak 4: get better dps

    P2
    Green 2: Rampart

    P3
    Scourge 1: Sentinel
    Scourge 2: get better dps

    P4
    Claw 1: Rampart
    Claw 2: Bulwark+Convalescence
    Claw 3: Rampart
Claw 4: Sentinel OR Hallowed, depending on current state
Claw 5: Rampart (can add Bulwark/Sentinel if close to dead)
    Claw 6: Hallowed
Claw 7: fight should be over, one way or another before you get here

Relying on Hallowed in P1 for Raven's Ascent is just going to get you killed and your healers complacent when you don't have it up from a wipe.

So I finally got to P3 last night with my static after hours of wipe, thanks to a whm replacement who was just having fun helping out while he's with his savage T9 static.

I was told that Scourge spawn position is random, and that shield lob might not be reactive enough to pull him (he recommended savage blade first). At the same time, I (solo tank) must be positioned already at the empty zones where the tower will not AoE. Any tips on that?

I think this is fairly similar to T8's dread spawn, where I wait for a whole second first after the add spawns and provoke then lob right away so to mitigate any casting heals or aggros on dps.
