Any Novus wielders out there?

First off, the Artemis Bow Zenith is in no way a white glow. It's totally green. The Animus verion is gorgeous, and I'm disappointed the Novus went back to green (even though it's a different shade).

The black mage Novus looks awesome, I love it. White mage is cool, looks like sunlight. However after getting my Animus last night with the nice holy looking white-lavendar, I'm not sure which I prefer.

I also would LOVE to see what the scholar Novus looks like.

So, I'm still confused on the Novus. I know about needing Alexandrite. I know about it using Materia.

But, my confusion comes in the 75 number. Do you really have to add 75 different materia's? Or do the bonus numbers the materia gives affect it?

For example, let's say there's a materia that adds +6 to your given stat. Does that 6 points count toward your 75 number that is shown on the sphere scroll?

I'm just confused as to how, if you really have to have 75 alexandrites all with its own materia, how people are already getting Novus a week after the patch.

Apparently the 75 is the amount of extra stats you can get, so you can use materia IV to fill it fast with the least amount of alexandrites, people can also trade myths for maps to accelerate the process on top of the daily maps.

Materia Tiers don't increase the amount. Each Materia counts as 1/75 just the higher you go it forces you to use higher materia (Like for a +44 stat mod its 1-11 I 12-22 II 23-33 III 34-44 IV)

Since it came out on 6/5 and today is 6/17. Let's say 8 min runs. They'd have to farm ~13 hrs a day myth to farm the alexandrite. Take away the free dailies, and add onto it for everyday earlier then today they got it.

The Materia part takes no time if you have gil. I already almost hoarded 99 Savage Aim/Might I/II/IVs for future jobs.
