So what did legacy players get?

I played 1.0 on a diff account bought the CE and everything. Hated it so I left..well then they announced 2.0, played the beta and didnt think I would like it but well here I am lol. Anyhew I had already gotten this character to like 35 when I sat there thinking, why am did I not get any perks? Well I had used a completely different email for this account @_@ (luckily got the emails switched) so I lost all my legacy perks. Just out of curiosity what did they get? Did they keep the onion knight helm? ;_; miss that thing.

Side Note: What is funny is I did get to use the authenticator from the old CE on this account, was not even sure it would work but it did so I am pretty happy about that.

If you played it before they started charging then just whatever items you had (Onion helm, garlond googles, etc) and the tatoo.

Legacy chocobo you can't use barding on, a neck tattoo, 8 characters per server and you get to pay $10 a month. If you beat United We Stand in 1.2X you get special dialogue in some quests but that's not really a Legacy bonus with a capital L, just legacy as in just played the old version.

Survivor neck tatoo. I don't miss it. It was super generic.
Carpet hatted gobue. Honestly, the new design is better.
Old gear. Some of it's great for glamors, but not much else.
A free Fantasia potion.

That, plus a discount on the monthly fee which is probably the most substantial perk. $9.99 per month isn't shabby, 90/180 day is even cheaper.
