Am I The Only One Having Trouble With Atma Drops?

Took me about 2 weeks of playing to get my atma of the crab. That's too long, especially when it's pay to play

One could look at this two ways: (1) If there were was no atma, there would be no reason for higher level folks to run around beating up on poor, defenseless lady bugs, and people who could use help to beat these fates would not be able to complete. It gives incentive for people to play together. Then of course, the other reason: (2) If it takes you 3 months to get your atma, then there's $45 (USD) you just paid them to keep playing the game. I've been lucky with 2 atma drops, and I only did it to play with friends. I was actually more worried about working on my WHM, but since I have my BRD Zenith, what the heck.

I agree that it should be a little more challenging rather than time consuming, that's for sure.

It's a painful process. I got 3 atmas in 2 days and nothing since. At least you know that EVERYONE won't have a Novus weapon unless they decide to nerf the difficulty of the atma drop rate.

But they would never do that to us right?

Well had taken me over a month for my Bard atma weapon (all 12 atmas) and started grinding right after for my blm, but has been 2 months for my blm and only have 6 atmas.
For the amount of time spent on these silly things i could of had 2 classes up to lvl 50 by now, lol

Lol all I know is I farm for about 2 to 3 hours every other day since its been around and I have yet to see an atma the RNG gods hate my guts lol.

I spent 50 hours farming to get 12 atma. The other healer in my static spent 10 hours. Anther person on my server got all 12 in 5 hours. The rng of atma is just awful. However, I really love my Animus and I'm glad I got it. (Especially considering how 70+ Twintania kills never dropped my cane.)
