Been a while since I frequented these forums, what with so much to do in game and all. In the interest of breaking the monotonous string of recruitment posts, I figured I'd ask what everyone has been up to, what your dreams are, your aspirations.

Myself, I've been working on my Novus, and to say it is soul shattering would be to render kinder words than it likely deserves. What are your thoughts on how FFXIV as a title is progressing? Even with the strange workhorse approach they've taken to relics, it looks to me as if the future is bright. So bright, you'll have to wear shades. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I feel the game itself has a bright future. As is for myself and members on my raid team, once progression ends the game becomes stale outside the 2 hours of raid time we have weekly.

I think the game has lots of promise. I do kind of wish it would make up it's mind what kind of game it wants to be though. I kind of feel that since they are trying to cater to every group that speaks up, they aren't really catering to anyone. Giving people too much of what they want just means they get "full" and just leave and aren't "hungry" enough to keep challenging the game. IE - people play for 2-3 months and get bored after they've done all you can do. I've stuck with it though. I want to believe that things will get more interesting as it goes. If I had one wish, I wish that they wouldn't just throw so much gear/items at us without much of a challenge to obtain them. I appreciate choice and theorycrafting and all that, but I get the impression they often just throw stuff at us to buy us off with "gifts" to get us to stick around. Gear isn't everything! :P I hope people play this game for other reasons than having cute stuff to wear... hehe

I've been trying to reestablish myself here again after my long time static broke up after half of them left for other games. I've been playing since beta and like being a part of the community here.

Can any current residents of Leviathan give me an overview of the server? My FFXI LS, with a core of members that have known each other for over a decade, reunited for XIV, but our current server is fairly sub-par. I am wanting to know how the Levi population is, as well as opinions on the state of party finder and the market board. We are tying to find a new home.

The servers population is fine. Party Finder is usually 25+ish during peak hours. As for the marketboard; I have been here since Early Access, so to me I think it is fine; unless there is a general sum of items you would like priced out. If you need any more info feel free to seek me out.
