does anyone feel that the mysterious map is all a con and misleading players?!

I've liked the difficulty level of these. Could see some folks having a harder time of it - get a friend if you need to.

As i89 Warrior (i101 in tank gear, but I wear 5x i70 crafted jewelry for this), I've done 10 or 12 solo without dieing. Pure DPS chocobo. Most of em not that challenging. Closest call was the 4x small bombs. Sounds like you're supposed to kill them, but I only saw it once and didn't know that. Absorbed full 4x hits .. twice. Inner Beast, Bloodbath, etc in between and nearly dead after.

Morbol? Stun it to interrupt Bad Breath. Or that trick with having a lowbie mob agro'd to break your bind might work - sounds plausible, I haven't tried it. Or just eat the Bad Breath and kill it toe-to-toe is what I did the first time.

Bomb that gets bigger and hits you? .. A little tickle. Inner Beast a few times, Thrill of Battle, and end fight with 90+% health. Without running from it. I tried running away when it got big as well - seemed OK.

Haven't seen the cyclops "coincounter" one yet.
