    PS4: Can't log in after upgrade from PS3

    So I seem to be having some kind of issue. I recently upgraded from the PS3 version of Final Fantasy to the PS4 version. I have the download client and everything in my list, and can redownload it over and over. I ever have the product key in the Mog Station (which btw tells me I can't use the key anymore) and it shows under my account that I am indeed registered with a PS4 version of the game.

    But for some reason I get an error message saying "cannot launch the game: please enter the promotion code etc etc" (or was it registration key?) but either way, I followed the upgrade steps to the letter and yet I can't seem to log in at all. I enter my log in info and get that error message what can I do to fix this? My last option is Squares support, and we all know how they are...

    Eh....my previous experiences dealing with them weren't really all to good. So I'm really hesitant to go to them now.

    I've had issues with this before, make sure your Os aren't 0s and vice versa. I think also the capital I looks like lowercase l, just try it a few times that may help

    I'm almost positive this issue occurred, and had threads made in this forum about it right when the switch went active. Maybe look through some old threads with keywords and see if someone else has already answered this?

    P.S. Not meaning to sound snarky or rude, I switched from PS3 to PS4 when it went live but I didn't have this problem. I absolutely remember reading that other people had this problem, though. Its worth a shot!

    I've had to contact SE support 5 times counting FFXI and XIV. All 5 of them went smooth and they solved the issues in minutes so I dont know why people hate it so much.
