Allowing Atma to drom with any stage of relic

Since it seems ninja starts at square 1 of the whole relic chain. Is there any way before then we can get Atma dropping no matter what stage relic we have equiped. I hate the idea of having to lvl a class to 50, get their zennith for the whole purpose of getting atma for my ninja relic.

Some of you may say that I should just wait for ninja, but in http://i.massively.joystiq.com/2014/...sses-and-more/ he says to farm the atma now if you want it done with, hard to do when I am already past zennith.

You can purchase the relic from the calamity recovery npc and upgrade it to a zenith again. You then can farm atma to your hearts content.

Much like what Kabooa was saying yesterday, the fact that you can now BUY relics severely devalues the weapon we actually WORKED for. Not to mention Atma essentially being a pointless grind (Atma weapons are just recolored Zenith), Animus being mindless busy work, and I don't even care to know about Novus upgrades. . .

Can't wait to get a Coil weapon and never use this thing again.

Considering you have to make the relic first before you can but it, I don't see the issue with it and I don't see how it devalues the weapon at all. It's not like you can trade it to anyone, or sell it off, so you won't have relics just floating about. Really, all they are useful for is glamour and in this case atma farming if you don't want to get another class to 50.

That is unless they make the super final ones on par with the final coil weapons, allowing the stat customization alone brings its value to the sky.

You have to have earned the relic in the first place before you can purchase it from the calamity npc. It is just a way that you can get the older relic so you can farm atma on a character before you get another class to 50.

Frankly, once you flag the quest once it shouldn't matter what class or weapon you are using. SE, let us farm Atma on lowbies if you refuse to actually put some effort in this garbage quest.

With the ridiculous route they decided to go I think it would have been better if they dropped to anyone even if they don't have a job at 50 yet... it would have incentized doing FATEs in the areas in which they wanted to shoehorn people into doing FATES and it would be motivational to new players to reach endgame.... would still be a massive dickslap to people with all jobs capped at 50 though.
