Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.
Oh yea, thats why 1.0 was such an overwhelming success, because SE decided to go on a strict path without listening to their paying community. Can you please stop?
You don't have any right to demand content. You have the priviledge to play the game THEY made, you accepted to play the content they created (and will keep creating) when you bought your account. The game doesn't revolve around you, stop demanding content YOU wish for it, just suggest it.
If there wouldnt be people with ideas or even demands on content ARR wouldnt be the same as it is today.
But yea... just think whatever you want.

It’s not really about the fact that people are complaining about/demanding certain features/content, but the way they are doing it. I don’t know if other people have noticed this, but these types of complain/demand threads follow a certain (popular) “trend” and they always come in waves.
For example, the “༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Give X or riot ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ”-threads were based on the popular “༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Give Diretide” “Riot”.
Once people think/see that a certain protest/complaint/demand “worked”, they will use it for other things as well. Hoping that the result will be in their favor.
I’ve seen the same trend happen on the Lodestone forum multiple times in the past when, for instance someone posted a complaint about “Lackluster graphics”. After that, every complaint-thread contained the word “Lackluster” to describe anything they didn’t agree to and “had to be changed now”. This lasted for quite a while.
SE wants our feedback so that they can shape their game into something that should be fun and enjoyable for its fanbase, as long as it doesn’t deviate too much from the vision they have for their game.
I personally think that it is a reasonable and respectable perspective.
We all want to see new classes like the Musketeer implemented in the game. We all want to see those famous/traditional Jobs like Red Mage, Dark Knight, Samurai, Blue Mage, Beastmaster, etc implemented in the game. We all want see them implemented in the next patch, rather than in a future expansion.
But, if SE decides that now is not the time, then that’s their choice. We can try to convince them by begging them to reconsider, but that’s all we can do. It doesn’t really matter how much “༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ Give X or riot ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ”-threads we create.
By all means, keep requesting for new classes, new jobs, new features, changes to the current content, introductions of famous Final Fantasy characters/enemies/locations, etc. But, try to keep it civilized.
Credit goes to Niqo'te for her fabulous art in the "Nique's happy fun time!"-thread and Nix/Capa for the Caitlyn drawing to the right. \(^_^ )/

constructive criticism must aboslutely be positive in the mind of SE, so really positive constructive criticism is already an oxymoron de per se. To show the good you need to tell the bad in order for the good to replace what is bad...if you speak only of what is good what is there to criticize in the first place ?...this is me though and I know many arent in agreement.
For the rest, people can demand, doesnt mean they will be listened to and in fact DEMANDS will be more then not ignored, is like with children, if the child forget the magical word....he wont get it at least from me. Suggesting is far better way...and probably having major chances to be read and to an extend taken into account.
This being said, I also believe the RIOT threads are meant for a joke....even if poorly expressed.

How about instead of spamming these threads, humorously meant or not, you just put up clearly what you would like, in no uncertain words and no tantrums thrown. Then, if you like it and want to see it, use the "like button". As far as I could see from the LL part 1 on.. tuesday? the presenter clearly said "these were the questions that had the most likes on the forum".
Kinda says something doesn't it. They do pay attention, but they pay more attention to those posts which have more likes.
It was cute when it was the first time in the Fantasia or Riot thread. Now, it's just people with a limited sense of humour and/or imagination wanting to jump on the, "Look how cool I am!" train.
I just keep getting flashbacks to every champion of unoriginality who thought Chuck Norris jokes were hilarious over a year after they hit the internet.
I don't understand why it bugs so many people. You are not forced to open those threads, so why bother?
