You make it sound like they are actually leaving explanations to their "demands" lol.Why can't they demand? They are the people consuming the product. They can demand anything they want. Doesn't mean they will get it. I think you're confused on what is a right and what isn't. Or what is proper and what isn't. Just because you don't like, doesn't mean they can't ask for more information, or make their voices heard.

So the issue isn't about rights at all really. Its about people deliberately exploiting a company's need to make money.
OP, just report the post if it's spam and / or add the user to your ignore list.
First world problems and all that.
No.. that would probably be here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/663-Feedback
Although I'm pretty sure most companies welcome "constructive feedback" , not teddies thrown in the corner.
I hope you know that is for Website, Forums, Localization Feedback only. Not the game in general.
Exactly, people that post their concerns tend to be passionate for their hobby over those that are simply throwing irrational fits.Well Yoshi did say in one of his presentations that an angry customer complaining is better than a silent one who just leaves (his power point slide said they "care" more for the game). Having said that, when said feedback is non-constructive it's a little bit pointless. I only get annoyed when I see the same posters literally copy-pasting their last post multiple times to increase the thread's popularity. I saw that on the fantasia thread. Lots of the SAME people were just posting the same message over and over making their opinion appear more popular than otherwise.
All these things are what people desire and in no way is it a bad thing. It's a bad thing when it is left out and ignored with no hint if it will ever be addressed. Kind of like not bringing up the expansion and the gunner class to E3.
Personally I'm starting to get the felling that Square-Enix and success just don't mix. I know Square-Enix is better than this but some decisions just really disappoint me when they miss the point and the fact that they put the blame in PR is rather amazing. Since if they know the issue is PR they should really consider maybe not listening to them if they are a hindrance or get them to see things from a consumer standpoint.
That was very contradictory. You don't have any right to demand content. You have the priviledge to play the game THEY made, you accepted to play the content they created (and will keep creating) when you bought your account. The game doesn't revolve around you, stop demanding content YOU wish for it, just suggest it.
In the end it's a mutual agreement and I wont expand on it because it just doesn't lighten up the atmosphere going into such a topic.
^ mhmm, but as far as i can see it's also being used to make constructive feedback about the game in general. Gotta be better than spamming the crap outta the main forum with hissy fit threads.
Many times, I see they respond to general thread more or most of our feedback in General is heard and some are actually look at and put into the game. I don't support this kind of spam, but posting actual POSITIVE feedback on the game on those Thread is never a good ideas. It doesn't fit the Thread description and seam more like spam.
The rioters aren't doing much help OR harm, since they're only asking for stuff that's been announced or almost guaranteed already. They have about as much relevance as me saying "NINJA OR RIOT!"
This is perfect, though. If we REALLY wanted something to riot about, it should be something we know will make a better game in the end

SQUARESOFT or riot!!
Am I the only one that realises the riot threads are just for a laugh? Does noone on the internet have a sense of humour anymore?
