How is it fallacy? Unless a game has run its course and everything is being nerfed there's always going to be content that requires you to work with other people. The exception to this is MMOs that are mechanically easy enough or overly macroed so that 1 person can multibox raid content. I want to meet someone who can multibox clear the first Coil nevermind Second Coil.

The fallacy, specifically, is the first part of the statement. "It's a MMO" is a meaningless qualifier, as all MMO means is that multiple people can join a persistent server at the same time. It has nothing to do with gameplay. How is it fallacy? Unless a game has run its course and everything is being nerfed there's always going to be content that requires you to work with other people. The second part of the statement makes sense as some things in this particular MMO require multiple people to complete. Though in this case, a single person could conceivably create a FC by bribing people to sign at the start and then purchasing a small house + land (less than 2 mil for some of the Goblet properties).
Having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.
There's no fallacy towards the "It's a MMO" statement when you actually look at the intended context that it's an "MMORPG". The genre itself is founded, and eventually made mainstream, on the very things you incorrectly consider a fallacy. The fallacy, specifically, is the first part of the statement. FYI Yoshi answered the question about Personal Housing release during E3 stating he's aiming for before 2.4. Therefore it WILL happen within the next year.

Will you be able to use this feature to raise a chocobo from levels below 10, to 10 and beyond?

FC w/o house need to think about house 1st , i think if FC can't afford even small house (because ppl's don't want or don't trust in each other , or just lazy) they apperently just no worth FC
Of course i maybe wrong.........
People ask what is housing for besides vanity. Yoshi said Chocobo breeding. You complain. :/ I don't get it.
Well if you want your own Personal Raising then you'll have to wait for Personal Housing which is the last Housing to be released.

Playing solo does not mean you need to be anti social and never make friends, join an FC, and buy a 2 million gil small house together.
Even solo, you could start an FC and make the money for the house, it's not that much. If you don't try to make money, you're not gonna have money. If you ignore crafting, you don't have money, just like if you ignore dungeons, you don't have gear. (not always the case of either, but a frequent occurance)
A new feature isn't always going to be magically available and free, sometimes you gotta work for it, and sometimes you need a little help, it is an MMO after all.
