    FFXIVboot.exe / FFXIupdater When opened is a Black Screen!!! PLEASE HELP :(

    Ok, I did not play for a while and now when I attempt to open the game to play, the FFXIupdater application plays music but is displayed as a window that is a blank, black box inside. Nothing seems to happen. I really wanna playy but I can't this is very frustrating, any ideas to help?

    You can try to move this folder to your desktop: c:\Users\[your username]\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\
    Second idea would be to update directX and your graphics drivers.
    Final idea is a reinstall of ffxiv.
