Please add Musketeer

Ehhhh I think it looks kinda cool. Make this happen, SE, please. Also, just a random thought, maybe a hybrid job that uses both gun and sword combos. I think musketeers like the ones in the Dumas books would be great, using guns but also great with sword fighting. I know those aren't the only types of musketeers or fighters that use both gun and sword but it's what came to mind. One can dream.

I just want guns, I liked Corsair in FFXI and I can't wait to see what they do with a gun class in this game. So far I can honestly say, while I like some more than others, I don't really dislike anything they have done in this game with the jobs/classes. I mean I really don't see the whole Archer = Bard connection, but I still don't hate bard, it's pretty fun. It will be interesting to see SE's interpretation of a Musketeer (gun class). I mean they kinda hinted it's gonna kinda be like a mage thing, but guns which has me really excited.

People can be negative all they want, I'll be playing it once it comes out and I can't wait~! Just wish SE would give us more info than 'it's not ready yet'. So I said before, the pure fact that they said 'gunner and dagger type classes are coming look forward to E3' and then all they tell us is dagger = first cuz pvp and nothing about gunner? That was annoying and upsetting since we have been waiting a long time for news on a gunner type class.

I would have been happy with anything, a look a concept art on how guns are gonna look, or concept on the AF, or a rough 'we are trying to get it out by patch X.X and will try our best'!

Anyway there is always a chance people won't like the new classes. By HeroSamson's logic, all the people who begged for Ninja might not like Ninja and won't play it, or the people who want new healing and tank classes might not like those. People might not like the next part to the Atma weapons, or the new CT areas or Primals. But then again, there will be people who do, and as long as there is someone who enjoys it, it's never a waste.

I have thought about this a great deal since E3, and I can only come to one conclusion: Yoshida-P didn't reveal it, because he couldn't. I believe that whatever the gun job ends up being, it will involve story elements from the expansion. The npc we get sent to from Limsa will like be in Ishgard or an as of yet unknown area. Though I have heard people mention gun blades this very well could be possible and make a great many of us squeal with delight, Yoshida does seem to like putting in "throwbacks". I would like to see that interview where he mentioned gun blades, I never remember actually reading that, just people saying that he said that.

Yeah I have heard people mention this, and for some reason I think I remember it, but I can't remember if I actually saw it...

Well if gunblade is added it will come down to how they handle the class/jobs since the game currently picture the Gunblade class as a hybrid of Melee and Range Physical damage by how NPCs uses the Gunblade in the Storyline cutscenes.

Right now Gunblade class is like Musketeer. The only characters that are Gunblade classes are NPCs with all of them being in the Garlean Empire (mostly as soldiers) and seen in action only through the storyline cutscenes.
