Anyone remember in FF7, how you could win misc rewards from the roller coaster mini-game? e.g. Masamune replica. I wonder if such things would be available like that for this game. o_O

I want a Doomtrain train set. Preferably with some fun flavor text saying something scary about how rumors suggest that the toy is haunted and tends to vanish from time to time.

Was there any point to getting those rewards in FF7 other than it filling up a slot in your Key Items inventory?

But yeah, I think it's a good idea. I would prefer exclusive furnishings/vanity items, etc.

SE (and all other Japanese gaming companies in general) needs to have fun with their games. Put little homages to other games they made in the past like an Ehrgeiz arcade machine that you can win and put in your FC house to play the actual PS1 version of the game.

I truly hope that the Gold Saucer serves as a reminder about the fun aspect of things. That it doesn't have to be an organized strategic system to play. That devs (and players) remember what it was like to go to an arcade when they were young. How mindless enjoyment can really have a positive impact. I'm wondering if that mentality actually hit them recently with the 72-man Frontlines change.
