New player seeking a friendhsip to help level, explore and enjoy the FF14 world

I am NOT new to the FF series or RPGs in general in fact RPGs are my favorite genre type of games, I am however semi new to MMOs universe other then starting here I have only ever played SWTOR to end game.
Gaming with a friend in a community is much better then gaming alone and grinding without social interaction.
I am seeking a good friend who would like to level chat raid and do all that end game mubo jumbo while enjoying one another's friendship and the FF14 world.

I am a 27 y/o father of 3 who works from home I will be blunt when I say I can dedicate a fair amount of time to playing due the fact I do have cancer and a rare blood disorder that only 700 people have other then spending every waking moment being a family man I am on the game.

I am a huge believer of accept no one's definition of your life.

I don't judge, I evaluate.
I don't tell secrets, I keep them.
I'm trusting, but not naive.
Honest, but not stupid.

Sadly I play on a different server (Ridill), as I would definitely be happy to befriend you and help you out otherwise, but I'm sure you'll find people on Diabolos who will do the same. A good place to start looking is the forum for your server, which can be found here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/825-Diabolos (unfortunately due to forum restrictions you can't actually post in it until your character is a higher level - around level 25 if I remember rightly - but you can still browse it for linkshells and Free Companies who are looking for new members (where you might also find new friends too).

I'm so sorry to hear about your illnesses though, and hope you can get well as soon as possible - hopefully FFXIV will provide enjoyment for you, and as you said, playing with friends is far better than playing alone (which you've already taken the first step to getting by posting here).
