This game sorely needs diversity.

Like Yoshida says, if they do something like this then people will find the best combinations and then they have to balance the content based on that...so every other combination ends up not viable.
The usefulness of some job cross skills needs look at. Some jobs get great one and some get some that's not even worth casting. Yes, cure I springs to mind, no pun intended!
Then we get back into these design questions, though. There have been some seriously questionable decisions - provoke is one, paladin not being caster-type healy tank is another, etc. I have 100% confidence in Yoshi-P, but I fear that it's going to be a long time before we see structures come into their own.
Yea i know there isnt content for this right now but like i said it can come into play to extend more content into the game.Probably not.
There isnt any critical fights, really.
There\\\\'s different mechanics that you can completely avoid (Landslide) Or for Twintania, kill snakes, to debuff asclepius and burn it. Stand in neural link, to take reduced damage from Aetherial Profusion/Hatches.
War is DPS type tank.
And BLM has manawall, that can completely block 2 attacks, mana ward can reduce damage of stuff, by quite a lot, and apocathesis that increase resistance. None of them are necessary for anything.
They removed archer skills from DRG cross-class, so we can\\\\'t use straight shot, raging strike, cause they made DRG rather OP...so...i doubt they will add other cross-class buffs, that will make you OP again.
Tanks don\\\\'t need more defensive skills, unless you want the game to get even easier than it is. .
