On the subject of nerfage

I just had to post this because I get so sick of seeing all these people screaming "Yeah! Take that, Archers!" and "Woohoo! THM Got what it deserved, the bastards!".

I wish I could write this with a little more first-hand experience playing the patch, but unfortunately, I kind of gave up after getting kicked three times and not being able to log in all night after the patch went up, but that's another topic...

Anyway, to all you nerf-lovers out there, stfu you pathetic, small-minded twits (and I get called a troll in 3, 2, ... there we go).

Why is it that everyone thinks that a class that does more damage than another is immediately OMGWTFHAX0RBBQIMBA!!!!!!!1eleven

That's what Archer DOES ffs, it's a DPS class, OF COURSE IT DOES MORE FREAKING DAMAGE THAN THE OTHER CLASSES! I really don't want to see this game go down the path of having to have all the classes do exactly the same amount of everything in exactly the same way because a bunch of people scream about them being "unbalanced".

THAT'S THE POINT! Some classes do some things better than other classes! That's WHY THEY'RE DIFFERENT CLASSES!

I was a white knight, i cant bare to play atm, might change in the future, i didnt even attempt at cure/passive i walked up to mobs and target them and press a buff and watch the game play itself.......

quest is min rank 22 and the mobs are r19............ game is just not improving

they nerfed THM which was the most fun to me, fine I saw emulate coming under the nerf bat as soon as i learn what it was and how it worked, thats fine, multishot was a lil heavy i guess, but if you hate arc so bad SE, get rid of perfect aim on engage, and no hate on first action

i was going to do an r25 dungeon, i did the first 2 quests, the second being "talk to npc beisde me for 1100sp" and so i assumed (yes ass u me) that because the dungeon was in the list i could select it

truthfully didnt check journal, thought i flagged em both, go to tranquil port to silent arbor, walk around the corner, join my oh wait cant enter, AWESOME

/logout sorry but im really bummed on this game its gone for a shit imo

if you think a challenge is doing WAY less and spending as much idle time as possible in passive mode........... i really don't want to play PLAY you know P L A Y

If some classes are overpowered in parties the game becomes too easy for everyone.

I do understand that classes like Ninja and ARC SHOULD do a bit more DPS than other classes because those players PAY huge amount of gil for every single fight.

There's a difference between class variety and total lack of game design. I think the game is heading to the right direction but naturally it'll probably take a few years to get all the stats working like they should.
