Actually, I believe Yoshi-P stated that they're approaching Shiva differently as opposed to all the other Primals? That her story will start in 2.3, and stretch onwards to 2.4, and then at some point we'll fight Shiva. I don't think he ever confirmed facing off against her for 2.4 though.

I don't know about you all getting rofl hyped... but that "Shiva" looks more like a Dungeon boss ie. New boss at end of HM revamp or new dungeon... you know like Diablos and Siren.

I like Odin how he is right now, making a party fight against him wouldn't really fit the game and what Odin is about.

personally i think odin as it is... is bad. actually Odin deserve a better fight than this zerg fest.
no skill involved, play in party toss the limit when he begin him final attack and if you have enough people enjoy the victory.

actually, i found it even really really bad, since it's technically impossible to tank him, even with tank in ilvl 110. each hit place a debuff that stack increasing him insane damage. (hit for more of 4000 damage per hit, every 2.5 sec).

Odin deserve a better treatment than this! it's one of the three major summons of FF world (with bahamut and alexander)

She's about the same size as Garuda if you lopped off her wings though it's hard to be sure of size since there isn't much in the shot to compare her against. Danbo05 has it right as well. Shiva is apparently pivotal to the upcoming main story elements. So much so that we get the build up in 2.3 AND 2.4 (Yoshi made it sound like she'd be 2.5). There's no way she isn't a full blown Primal.

Siren is about the same size as Gaurda if you lob off 2 sets of wings.
