Let me ask you what has SE done wrong in this situation? Let's say I go to a restaurant and order a medium rare steak. I get it it's well done but I eat it anyway. Do I have the right to ask for another steak after I completely ate the first? I think not.

no once you ate it BUT when you cut it first and saw it awsnt raw as you asked you can return it ....so in your example, poor example to be honest, you cut it before realizing it wasnt right as you asked...raw doesnt mean uncooked btw..so in essence you used the product and returned it cut so modified from its original appearance

No, a more accurate analogy would be this: Long-time customers get a free limited edition steak, and if the steak isn't to their liking, they can get one more. Later on, the restaurant decides to start selling the limited edition steaks. Naturally, now that there's money involved, they see no reason to give them a free steak if their first steak sucked, because now the supply of steaks has increased and isn't as rare as before.

To the OP: I'm not quite sure why you're faulting a company for trying to make money. That's the #1 reason it exists. As much as you'd like to believe that they're there just for you, they aren't. You could have easily made a different character and checked your goofy robe thing if it was really that serious, but you didn't. Sucks to be you.

I'm one of those annoying customers who type an angry letter when I think something is unfair (like not getting compensations for all the lag that made the game unplayable for me except like gathering or crafting, which also takes a long time) and I get the same answer every single time whatever I type. "Please contact the support on blahblahblah.blah.com" And when I did that once I got an answer 2 days later "Oh you're an Eu player you've sent your letter to the NA department so we can't help you, goodbuy"

That said I have never in my life seen worse support in a game ever.

It's fairly simple. If he has the tools to check this before he agrees, even if stupidly convoluted, then it's his fault.

If he doesn't have the tools to check, then it's still his fault for using the product with this known risk. The product did not meet his expectations and request another of the same product to revert the consequences of taking a said risk.

To this particular case, he has been denied despite others getting it in the past.

Many things have changed since back then to what we have today and I'm sure I don't have to recount it if you're on this forum. It seems to just be a 'Buyer Beware' thing now. If that is fair or not is an opinion for people to have.

If you think that unfairness is a fact though. You only have the option to use the right channels to get your point across to them. If none of that works? The last option is get a lawyer an show you are right.

Once you get to endgame there are hardly any hoods so it's not as big of a deal.

Also going by yout logic everyone that makes a miqote and doesn't like how the tail looks on soldiery blm gear should get a free phantasia.

I do agree though that if you haven't used your one time item reset they should have given you a new one although in hindsight you should have made something up about clicking accept by mistake.

SE didn't do anything wrong. You confirmed your change. I've seen/heard of plenty of people that didn't like the change they did (creator and in game doesn't always look the same) and wanted to fix or tweak something. Welp.. A few smarter people make another character on their acct to see how it looked in game before fully changing with fantasia. They knew it was a ONE TIME change.
