If she's similar to the Burmecians in FFIX, or similar to Freya, I will fly to Japan and kiss Yoshi-P on the lips. I would then proceed to roll a DRG with that race named Freya and not regret a thing.

But that said, I highly doubt it. It's probably going to like a lizard-humanoid. Think Miqote, with horns and a lizard tail. Maybe some cool skin tones and hairstyles. Maybe less of a humanoid face. I was expecting her race to be revealed this week, but maybe it'll be revealed through the rogue/ninja quests when they drop.

I doubt those are horns unless they messed up on the physics for them under that hood, because in the cut scenes when she moves her head they also move around like floppy ears.

Wow. Well then, i mentioned all the races from XI and XIV in the same sentence because they are all from an MMO which characters didn't exist previously in other FF titles, and know they are based off eachother (bad explanation and wording previously, apologies). And unless my advanced age is getting to me, XI was released before Crystal Chronicles. So no, Lala and Taru were not based off of that child like midget race from CC.

And Padjal, who only have horns, NO wings and NO tail and are Hyur/Human descendants are based off a Dragon like race that does have wings and tails? Also, what Yukiko said, it's well documented who/what/how they came to be and why they have horns.

If anything at all is shown about Yugiri during E3, I predict this:

A clip will be shown of Yugiri lifting her hand to her hood... she pulls it back... and...

end clip.

SE KNOWS folks are frothing at the mouth to know what her deal is. They aren't going to do a big reveal like that at something like E3. They'll TEASE it, sure, but they want folks eager to play the game to find out.

For my part, I'm hoping for Gria-like - or, at least, reptile-like attributes of some type - but I'm making no assumptions.

I doubt they'll release any info yet. They'll most likely wait to release the race with the expansion and this is a big selling point for the expansion itself. They need to hold steady and make this a reveal in one of the two live letters prior to the expansions release.

What we know about the race:

Droopy ears that don't really sag much, just kinda stay low. They could be horns but I swear to god i've seen slight bounces in the cloth when she moves.

Very clearly a long scaly tail with what appears to be some slight feathering at the base. Scaly tails with hints of feathering could be hints of raptor like qualities.
