I really don't understand THIS level of anger, the previous user's post was reasonable but yours seems like you've got some kind of hatred.

It's just a game. I highly doubt people would go to the huge trouble to rename themselves only to harass you, and if they do chances are you know them outside of the game.

You get trolls and you get stalkers. This isn't anger, this is just flatly stating that they don't need more cover. See:

I mean I hear you I just don't understand why it's such a big deal. As a person who has been legitimately stalked in real life, I can't imagine a scenario where I will have jeopardized myself enough via FFXIV that this is seriously a huge issue enough to deny name changes to people who want to switch things up.

But again I say, they can just log your named and broadcast them on your Lodestone page, that's what Aion did if I'm not mistaken.

Also if you report a troll that's evil enough they needed a name change to a GM I would expect something would be done if GM's punish people for AFK'ing on purpose to get booted for not wanting to finish a run!
