Name Change or Riot Thread

I hope this never happens; it is an easy out for people who've ruined their name in addition to people who buy/sell accounts.

Actually an easy way to avoid this is to use the Lodestone Feature and just link all your names together via your ID. I understand/respect your opinion and in a way share it.

But I'm a roleplayer at heart since the age of 9. I want to change my entire character head to toe name included from time to time and I feel I should be allowed to do that.

As a role player then, wouldn't the best solution be to simply roll a new character? Name changes in conjunction with using fantasia to change everything to do with your character doesn't particularly sit well with role playing. Surely it would kill any immersion you might get from role playing in the first place? I mean most people who role play will have entire back stories and lore worked out for their character...

I have every class at 50 north of ilvl 75 (with exception to PGL which is level 40). I don't really want to level a new character up.
