NPCs Won't talk, lag, and deletion

Hey! Since Square Enix won't help me out they told me to go here. They said that you guys could help me.

1st, I tried clicking on an NPC to talk and it won't talk. I left-clicked, then right-clicked but nothing..................

2nd, The lag is TERRIBLE. It is interrupting the game and IDK how to get rid of it. HELP!!

3rd, I wanna know how to delete a character

Do you see any message pop up when you click on the NPC? It may simply be a lag problem, or you might be too far away, or you could be using the wrong command (I run on a PS3 so I don't know computer commands for XIV very well).

Unfortunately there's little you OR Square can currently do about the lag. Suffice it to say it's a problem with the infrastructure that carries your commands to the servers (and vice-versa) and it's not actually equipment that Square owns and operates. Until the companies that actually own it fix their stuff, multiple games (GW2 is having the same problems) will just have to grin and bear it.

If you want to delete a character, go back to the selection screen and open the Subcommands menu. Delete should be one of the only options in that list.
