I haven't seen anyone talk about geomancer...where do you see all this talk about geomancer?
All i see is *give dancer/puppet-master* I honestly don't understand the hype about those 2. Dancer would be like bard...DPS with some useful dances, you can do occasionally. It wouldn't be anywhere near as useful as in XI, because you'd only have tops 5 dances. Probably 3, as with MNK fists, and 4 with BRD. Puppet master would just be like SMN (same difference) ppl always seem to forget that this is NOT XI...what worked in XI, doesn't work in XIV, because of restriction of how many skills we get.
And how much sense does it make to have dancer as a healer, anyway?

We might see that for expansion. I'd expect them to add a bunch of classes/jobs, then. They did mention adding new healer/tank in exp, we don't know anything else atm.
But i would guess they will add the most wanted jobs, like RDM, SAM, etc. Hopefully 1 new job for each class. They could add tank jobs to PLG and LNC.

But uhm, about GEO...in tactics, it had lots of debuffs, and such? Maybe it would be something along the line of Crowd-Control-DPS...but that's not very different from ACN.
CNJ already has slow, and knockback, and dots...So GEO could get something like def/res breaks...
But GEO would probably be way to overpowered...I mean, they could go all INT for DPS, then cleric stance, to heal; CNJ has cure I-III, Medica I,II, enhanced SS/prot, combat res, boosted cure/damage.
So basically you could be both DD and healer (though yes, heals would be nerfed a bit by cleric stance)...but maybe that would be a bigger incentive for ppl to pick up healing
Your MP would disappear quite quickly though, haha. But that would make BRD with Ballad, quite useful. Or take a pt with SS-MNKs, and Paeon.
