    Need some info on T8

I'm the kind of player who gets slightly tunnel visioned on DPS jobs specifically in this fight for some reason (I don't have this problem normally, just T8) - but for T8 my group is trying some new party compositions and it leaves me on a DPS role. My job in the party is to take care of Homing Laser and Brain Jack but sometimes I am a little late on it due to said DPS tunnel vision. (I'm normally a healer so I guess that probably contributes to my issue)

So my question is, do these mechanics and also the Bind mechanic with the circles have a timer I can create a macro for to help me with my issue? I rather like DPS but this fight specifically is difficult for me not to get tunnel vision in.

Y there is no random in t8.
But without fighting i can't tell you exactly when happens what. I'm just tanking braindead and telling when brainjack starts
but it happens always on the same time

This I know, I know the fight well and all of the mechanics but for some reason this fight causes me to get tunnel visioned. I'd really like to know the times for the mechanics for a macro

People can shout out when brainjack is coming. at least in the PTs i been in, there's always someone that shouts out everything.
Homing missile happens every 30ish second, but i guess it's just part of it's skill rotation, it always comes right after brainjack wears off.
Always focus target boss, and look at what it's casting, as often as you can.

Pro-tip, don't rely on macros, it makes you lazy, and won't help you improve. practice on keeping an eye out for what's going on around you instead. then you won't need macros.
If you get tunnel vision, you might end up wiping the party, so it's more important to focus on what's going on around you, rather than just DPS.
Once you figure out the boss-rotation, and mechanics, you'll be able to max out DPS, without wiping the party, in the process.

    The difference between relying on callouts and relying a macro is the human error. I aim to eliminate the human error to help me perform. In no way do I see it as lazy ^^;

well it's human error, that you're missing brainjack/guided missiles
it makes you lazy, cause you stop paying attention, and rely on macro, to tell you something.
the sooner you start to rely on yourself, the faster you'll improve.
you could still get tunnel vision, and get confused, and mess up the mechanic, because guided tether doesn't always end up on same person, and it might appear on someone who's elsewhere, and ppl might not be stacking properly, so you'll need to compensate and adapt...a macro wont help with such things; you paying attention to the details, will.

There is no need for macro. Have everyone but the main-tank stand in the same spot at where flank and rear happens so you only need to strafe left and right to do your combo. Stand slightly in front of them, between the group and the main tank so everytime there's a homing missile, you'll get it automatically and move when you see the tethered line. They even made it more visible now. For brainjack, I think it's every 30 seconds but you can always focus target the boss and look what he's casting.

The bind (from ballistic missiles) always happens after the last tower in a set goes off/charges to full. It's actually very predictable.

I don't handle the homing missiles, but to me it looks like homing missiles tend to be followed almost immediately by ballistic missiles. We have our melee run back to stack with us for that.

Change the size of your target'S HP/action bar in your HUD until it's huge. Also make it your focus target. Having the focus target up even if it's the same target can catch your eye sometimes when the regular one does not.

I think you severely underestimate the severity of my tunnel vision here, lol. It's a legitimate problem for me here but thanks for the other advice.

And no, it's still not making me lazy to want something reliable to assist me in this turn
