Moogle is similarly quiet to Cactuar, but it's got a large population of hardcore players who are progressing through the master-level content (second coil). I guess you could say the mood there is "quiet focus".
I personally would be interested in hearing about lively, laid-back servers...
I get the feeling changing servers isn't going to solve your problem and only cause you to lose money in game and real life.
Maybe it's you? Maybe you need to re-evaluate the way you associate with others and the way you make friends.
Just because you were in 1 bad FC doesn't mean every FC on that server is bad. And you said you got your atma alone. There are plenty of atma farming parties, surely you could have joined one and made some friends while grinding away.
I'm on Behemoth and I made some friends here despite being in 3 different FCs and when I got tired of the fc/wasn't happy with it, I left and moved on. I have my own FC now mostly with real life friends though but I still keep in touch with friends I made on the server. There are going to be good & bad folk everywhere you go, so don't think that the pasture is greener on the other side.
Haha, very smart answer there Nuko, I wouldn't jump to conclusions and just want to change because of one FC and I know there's atma farm parties and I don't know how but somehow I couldn't never find one more than half the time at the times that I farmed the atmas, maybe I just had HORRID timing or something. Kinda hurt my heart a bit on the re-evaluating thing. @_@ I don't quickly judge or anything if that's what you think but I just can't seem to fit in no matter how long I look by myself. >:I get the feeling changing servers isn't going to solve your problem and only cause you to lose money in game and real life.

I've been considering possibly Gilgamesh or Leviathan. I've heard they're pretty busy servers. I just don't feel Famfrit (at times) is busy enough for my taste.
That's strange, on my server I have more problems finding a leviathan farming party as the entire PF window is full of atma grinding parties o_o;
I'm just trying to say that unless you specifically have friends or someone willing to "take you in" on another server, it's not worth transferring.
If someone just transferred to behemoth and went "hi i'm here to make friends!" I would definitely not friend this person. I tend to make friends through "situations", for example my current raid group is through a friend I made when I started a Turn 4 practice/learning party a few months back.
Also try running around the housing area. Sometimes there's FCs hanging out and you can chat it up with some of them who knows you might make some friends :-)
Hahaha, I know what you mean, but I don't plan on just going to a server to run around going "HUG MEEEEE!!" I just wanna know if I should move or stay to then perhaps create my own FC so I can just let it happen and make friends out of situations like yourself.If someone just transferred to behemoth and went "hi i'm here to make friends!" Oh I've done this several times already mind you. xD I've walked all over the place especialy the Limsa housings since I love that area the most.Also try running around the housing area. Well, being on Hyperion for a long time now, I can say I don't want to move. Though there are many FCs around, there are a ton of helpful and laid back people. Just the other day I found myself and someone else sharing each others mobs to gain credit for an animus book. People can be pretty shouty, and the conversations actually can be pretty silly. Speculations, odd arguments, random BS... but then again there's your share of drama, but that's pretty much on most servers. It's very lively, full of pep and helpful players willing to answer questions, and basically what keeps me playing is the community on Hyperion.
C'est Vie ou Mort!

Thanks for the response Leira, I'm glad Hyperion's been the right place for you. Hopefully for my as well if I decide to go there. @_@ It's so hard to decide.
