    The Fish Sense Something Amiss

Every time I go to Oschon's Torch to fish I get the message "The fish sense something amiss." Is this the result of over-fishing an area? I never see any other players around. This really stinks since I can't work on my fishing i70 tool if I can't fish there. I never used to get this message so frequently

    Short form:

There are actually two "something amiss" messages, though both are identical. The first is had after fishing at a place for a "short" period of time. Personal experience has shown that this stretch of time is around one in-game day. This one can be cleared by finding a new position to fish within the same fishing spot.

The second something amiss is had when fishing at a certain spot for a much longer time. I forget how long, but call it three in-game days. Similar to the first "amiss," this one is cleared by fishing elsewhere, but this one locks you out of the entire fishing spot. All you have to do then is to fish at a different fishing spot. For Oschon's Torch, the easiest one to get to is in Moraby Bay, a little past the Merchant Mendor. A single cast and reel there (you don't even need to catch anything) will reset the Oschon's Torch fishing spot.
