Doing fate on lvl 50 char is pointless. So I've been thinking to switch class before the fate is over to give the exp point to another class. My question is can you still get atma/alexandrite if you change your class before the fate is over?

no you cant, have to have the appropriate weapon equipped upon completion

That kinda defeats the purpose of being on a lower level class in the first place, since the EXP doesn't transfer over.

Also, I may be wrong here, but last I heard, your progress in any given FATE resets if you change classes/jobs before it's over.

Yes, one of my atmas droped from that kobold you kill to access CT, in outer noscea.

CT Fate camping is the best for ATMA, because these FATEs repop fast.
