Is anyone else having this issue?

I have been getting horrible in game lag all night, but all my other internet services are working fine, streaming vids on YouTube, Netflix, etc. However FF14 keeps lagging terribly and it finally kicked me off saying it disconnected from server.

Now it will not load my characters and is telling me there is an error with the lobby server?

It's not just you. Everyone is still experiencing this. Duty Finder still lags horribly for me, buying/talking to NPC takes forever to load messages, teleporting takes forever, etc. Hopefully next maintenance gets this fix.

Pretty much exactly what I'm experiencing on top of disconnecting every 5 minutes.

Short version: One of the network providers (that connect between your compy/ISP and the FF servers) is messed up. Unfortunately, there is very little SE can do about it since it's not completely their gear (think of them needing to complain to their ISP to fix their stuff).
