"Unable to execute command. Housing functions are currently locked."

I was referred here after my Report was unable to be resolved through the in-game support desk.

This was the message:
"Hello.
The Free Company I lead has just purchased it's first house to our excitement, but we have since found an issue. We first purchased permit and placed the house, which was fine. We then placed the Letter Box which, though it had troubles disappearing, after re-logging a few times, it was placed and moved.

The problem started when we placed the Mini-Aetheryte, and since placing it, it has left us stuck. We are unable to move items, change settings, or even enter our house. All we get is the message "Unable to execute command. Housing functions are currently locked."

Please help us, we've worked so hard over the past 2 and a half weeks to get the rank and money to do this.
Thank you."

Our FC is also having this same problem. We placed out Aetheryte, and all of a sudden we're all locked out.

I'm sorry to hear that, when did it originally happen may I ask?

Trying to follow up these posts as i can to help get the word out.

Many folks are having this issue, me included. So far it seems its only causing trouble for those that bought a new house today and have place a mini Aetheryte. I highly advise any FC with a house to avoid messing with the outdoor fixtures, new houses and old. Considering houses that have been made before the patch already have an Aetheryte, we will mostly hear about the newer houses having this issue.

Yeah, our problem started not long before I posted here. Not exactly sure on time now.

Edit: Ive just been allowed inside my house. Seems to have sorted out for us.
