Rogue/Ninja is awesome, don't get me wrong...

but this is E3.

Really gonna hate it if they name it Golden Saucer. I may end up making a quitting thread over it, reading and responding to each and every post until it's inevitably locked and deleted and my account is banned. I'd be back though.

I will admit. A Gold Saucer reveal would have been nice, especially since it's been talked about since launch. Even concept art would have been nice.

Other than that, I think they did well enough. We got Rogue/Ninja reveal, mention that Frontlines are happening in previously locked areas of Coerthas, Airship building, a surprise reveal of Brutal Coil for all the hardcore players, etc.

Not gonna lie. Nintendo's press conference made their presence at Last Year's E3 feel like they were just biding their time. They kinda delivered. Like... holy crap.

Honestly, what I was looking forward to was an expansion pack reveal. Not anything detailed but like a title and cover.
After all, the 1-year anniversary is in August and by comparison FFXI had Xpac + 4 new jobs.

Zelda was definitely nice. The rest was very mediocre. X looked like a PS3 game, Devil's Third is probably a Wii U exclusive because it's been in development so long that no one else wants it... the new IPs seem rather banal. Wasn't really impressed overall.

The only thing that saved the day was the fight between Iwata and Reggie.
