The Hug emote

How the heck is a Roe supposed to hug a Lala or Lala hug a Roe? How are they going to handle all the size differences?

And what happens when players do this in dungeon with the boss or mobs coming after them?

That's likely why it and slap aren't in yet. They need to design animations for all the combinations.

The wat I envision it, the Lala would jump up in the air and all other race would hold them and twirl around once like you do with a child.

If it's an emote which involves two players they could have slightly different emotes for race combinations. The Roegadyn could kneel down, or the Lalafell could take a leap into their arms.

I imagine it looks something like a dog humping someone's leg, when lala's use the emote on anyone else.

I do look forward to it. I just hope someone can not use it to grief others in the dungeons. So far all emotes have been self impacting only.

As for the lala and non-lala, when should the lala jump up or when should the non-lala kneel down? Should it matter who initiates the hug?

And the Miqo'te should be able to pounce on the others for a hug right?

I loved the job emotes that acted on others in XI. Nothing like a giant band aid or conjuring a sprout on someone's head.
