What should I do now?

Hi all, currently I have slammed head first into a progression wall. This being my first MMO I really don't know how to circle around it. Maybe someone can put me on the right path. Currently, I am stuck on Titan Ex, have been for months on end. In my down time I have Lved a WAR, SMN, WHM, CUL and some gathering classes, I main a SCH. Now, I am just bored up to my eyeballs of Lving stuff. I have posted threads seeking statics but it looks like no one wants an i90 SCH atm. I was thinking of just starting my own static of players also looking to get passed all things Titian, but it looks like most ppl already belong to one. I'm also thinking of just going back to Tanking since it seems that’s the class statics are looking for. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Are you in any LS or FC that might be able to help? Either that or find people who do well in the fight through party finder and add them to friendlist, then when you have 7 capable people try to find an hour you can all get on at the same time then 1 shot it . That fight is insanely easy when people stick together instead of making a new party every day.

I think you're out of luck. Progression past i90, as far as I know, there's only:

-Levi/moogle ex
-SCOB
-Relic grind
-Weekly sold cap

1st option is locked out if you cant beat past titan ex. 2nd option is likely also locked if you're not past titan ex. 3rd option often gets called 'for casuals' but I disagree since it's a hardcore grind. The last option is something you do regardless of the above 3. From my point of view, the casuals gets shafted and has to wait for scraps or wait 6 months for new CT and overall gets a boring mmog. I see lots of players that has access to everything dismiss it and have the 'casuals deserve nothing' attitude and I strongly disagree. The content structure in this game is all messed up and timed poorly imo.

I'm not calling you a casual or anything but right now you have the gameplay options of a casual. Freaking nothing.

DF with JP Players can sometimes carry you through Titan EX.

I know my FC has been doing a weekend thing to try and help members progress through things, but if you're in a FC your raid group should be doing this on raid nights.

Honestly the first few times I beat Titan EX was in DF. I know it gets frustrating but communicate with the groups you get and eventually it will happen. I have my own FC with a few RL friends and as of late I'm the only one playing 99% of the time, so I feel your pain in regards to not having a static, on the bright side it has given me some faith in DF. It does happen , just have some patience if you don't end up finding a static ^.^

I just downed the big 3 recently I just takes time and diligence. Keep trying and don't get discouraged, I've still yet to down T5

Don't feel bad for being stuck on Titan EX, I was too, for almost as long. I didn't beat Titan EX until I beat T7 with my very first static. They mocked my lack of being able to beat it, and we celebrated our win by going for an "easy" clear. 80 minutes later, after someone jinxed us by wondering how much DPS we'd have at 25% echo.... we beat him!

Check for open statics at various times of the week. I've seen several looking for a healer. If you're bored and want new progression, try a melee DPS, completely different from Summoner. You might enjoy leveling someone thing so different from what you play now.

Your best bet would be to find a like minded FC (for example if you see yourself as hardcore go for a hardcore FC, if you see yourself as casual find a casual FC) this way players won't go too fast for you, and you won't get bored.

When you have done this you should be able to find a static very easily in the FC and because you and the FC are like minded you shouldn't fall out over progression.
