Naoki Yoshida, producer: First off, because the class is going to be a melee DPS-type class, that gear that you have for other melee DPS classes and jobs is probably something that you'll want to hold on to. On the other hand, weapons are all going to be new because it's going to be a special type -- the dual wield. While you can use existing gear, the weapons will be all new and players can have fun collecting them. As for the special and Primal weapons, there will be rogue and ninja versions.

Ok, what we do know is melee DPS use Str over Dex. Range DPS use Dex over Str. So what you are trying to say is that the Dex traits that were found supports the idea of a second job coming from Rogue. Thats good in all but what if its a Ranged job and not a melee Thief? This still doesn't confirm a Thief Job.

Or traits are for another class, since they talked about a gun wielding one.
Like some people said, Yoshida never actually said that Rogue would be the only job before the expansion.

I see a couple possible reasons why the data mined traits include 3 Dec increases for astronomy based class:
1. Leftovers from early development. The traits are leftovers from when Rogue was being developed as a Dec based class.
2. Making the Rogue/Ninja more "dodgy" by giving them an increased parry rate in comparision to other melee classes.

Back on topic:

My only opinion is that I want a Thief job in the game which everyone know by now.

Everything else I have said in here was questions. Now as to what I said today, in my earlier post I asked how does finding dex traits confirm there to be a Thief job coming from the Rogue class. This was a question not an opinion. Do you know how to determine the difference between a question and a opinion?
