NINJA and ROGUE confirmed

I'm with you. Totally disappointed by the lack of an actual Thief job. What I don't understand is why those that are disappointed are getting so much grief for it. If Samurai releases as Lancer's second job and uses a spear (note that this is an example and I do not believe that this will actually happen) people would be upset about it and NOBODY would fault them for it. Players want Thief as a job playable in endgame and we are all just QQ whiners? I don't get it.

Ninja is not Thief, it is Ninja. The UI will say it is Ninja, the lore will say they are ninjas, you will be invited to parties as a Ninja, and you will perform Ninjutsu.

This is not what I wanted when I wanted Thief to be included. The notion that there may not be a Thief class annoys me. That people justify it class play with 2 nerfable turns of coil and PVP infuriate me.

Dragoon is not Lancer, it's Dragoon. It says we are Dragoon, lore says we are Dragoon, you will be invited to parties as Dragoon, you will perform....jumps...and EVERYTHING a Lancer does.
So, uhm...Ninja will do Ninjutsu, and EVERYTHING that Rogue, does...which is why ppl say Ninja=Rogue, Rogue=Thief, minus steal.
I didn't play XI, so i dont know what the fuss with THF, is. but the only thing that makes it unique, i steal....but actually that's not unique, since retainers are stealing ppls houses, and everything in it, and outside it too.
What good would steal command be, in party play? constantly just spam Mug, praying to RNGeesus, that boss will drop an extra chest?
Thief would steal, and EVERYTHING that a Rogue does, so Thief=Rogue, anyway. So if you liked Thief in XI, you'll probably like Rogue in XIV...unless you only played Thief, to steal things...
So really, ppl are enraging about not being able to steal gil, mats, gear? (and actually we dont know what skills, that Rogues get, anyway. they might get pilfer skills. So you're potentially complaining about the name of a Job)
