Like I said several times before. If you can't progress in this game its not because of they systems put in place or your job choice. It is because you are not skilled enough to complete the content correctly on your job choice. If you do not know how to play your job, dont blame the people who refuse to invite a bad player into their party.

At this point the thread is off topic because people want to type essays about the so-called prevention from people playing Monk in end game. The reality is that these people didn't know how to play Monk effectively to be an asset to their parties.

I don't really know what skill will do for people who shout for BLM or BRD when they already have one or leave in DF before anyone even plays. But either way yes this has gotten off topic.

And since they remove elemental resistance to no "punish" anyone, I don't see them doing something as definitive.

Since most skills comes from classes, the two jobs would probably play almost the same. I don't see the point in doing two jobs that fills the same role and play the same. For example, if I want to tank as a Gladiator related job, I'll go for PLD, I don't need a second tank.
I feel like the way our class system works is a bit limiting at times . I think thats really part of the problem. If you have two DPS on one class it's hard to see them playing much different, and i'd rather see a whole new class built for them. But with the actual usefulness of using a class is that even really worth it? Maybe they'll try something different at some point with the skills.

Its a good idea that other mmos have done that SE got completely backwards. In most games where 1 class creates 2 jobs the class itself has 5-10 skills while the job has many more. Aion and SWTOR did these very well.

Even F2P games have been doing this very well for a long time. Because usually the first class is just a base the job paths build on to. They didn't so much do it wrong as them wanting the base classes to be usable at 50 was the problem. In most games once you upgrade you can't switch back to the base.
