NINJA and ROGUE confirmed

I am very excited, already decided it would be my main class when it released. I like Dragoon and play it well but it lost its luster for me after 50. Was into the whole jumping thing but now that I realize it is not what I was expecting I want a different DPS main. Ninja just looks so amazing and just my thing.

I'm Thinking of Changing my main to NIN..... Even thinking of farming 12 Atma/75 Alex between 2.3-2.4 for Nin Relic. Wonder what we will get Kikoku, Nagi, Kannagi, Or something different.

We had a small discussion about this elsewhere. Going by the current pattern, Gerolt's Ninja weapon will be Twashtar (all Gerolt items are Empyrean items from FFXI). We couldn't find anything good for Relic, but we use a few of FFXI's Relics for this, so it could be Mandau, or something else entirely (PLD relic in XIV was a special item in FFXI, not even a decent weapon). Primal item wold be from FF3 still, but theres a few choices for that (Ashura, Kotetsu, Kiku-Ichimonji, though will likely be Masamune based on the pattern for WHM/BLM of being the highest non-Legendary Smith item for each class, as long as you ignore WHM and BLM swapping Elder Staff and Omnirod).

Link please? Also why would Ninja get Twashtar? Twashtar was THFs Empyrean and Kannagi was Ninjas. Also I think you mean Mythics, Because I had Almace, Rhongomiant, Kannagi, and a Masamune. So most likely it will be Nagi then.

ETA is most likely gonna be oct or nov for 2.4.

Ah, Nagi would fit better, I was just looking at the FF Wiki's list of Empyrean items for that and missed Ninja on it. Nagi as Gerolt, Kikoshu as Relic.

The discussion was on xivdb's (xivpad's) chat, so I can't link to it. I didn't play FFXI, so I had to look up stuff as the discussion was going on.

From what we were saying in that discussion, someone brought up that nothing from the Mythic group has been used yet (which now that I look at this, Mythic is Gerolt items, so that person was mixing up terms).
