Duty Finder prevents people from not being able to progress in the game. For end game people can make their own parties to do end game or join a FC and have a static. There is no excuse as to why any job can not do raids.

Duty finder has it's limits(old content, players leaving, no current coil, etc.) and only a nice enough group or a not so progression focused one would let you gimp the static as a whole playing an inefficient job. I hardly ever see someone recruiting for a static without knowing the job they want the new person to be already. You're acting like people don't keep out jobs for the sake of better play or faster wins, when we both play on the same world and you can glance at party finder and shouts to see that people indeed keep out certain jobs and have been doing so since launch.

Remember Monk before buff? most parties didn't even want melee and if they did it was dragoon. Summoner before the DPS was found to be high? Double Paladin? Only ranged?

We literally do this all the time.

Heck there was even a point when doing ifrit hard if there was no blm/smn in DF parties everyone left. So Df doesn't solve everything.
