NINJA and ROGUE confirmed

Around 1:51:04. They said the Rogue's Guild which makes Rogue the class.

1.) Where did they say that? Honest question, at work so I can't watch the LL.

2.) Turns out, Thieves don't give a red qiqirn's behind if you "allow" them. That is kind of the point. If thievery was legal they wouldn't be called thieves, they'd be called Bankers. You couldn't see the woods outside Gridania being a Thief hotspot (Highwaymen) or Ul'dah, with all of it's commerce? Hell, Limsa is a city of pirates, which are sea-thieves.

It was in the stream. Right after they showed off rogue/ninja, his words were 'they are former thieves, we wanted it to fit in the world and no city would allow a thieves guild, so we adjusted it' or something along those lines. Thats the story they want to go with, I suppose they prefer 'criminals become productive members of society' rather than the other way round with rogue becoming thief.

Yeah, they said in the live video that Ninja is the job. They also showed artwork of the Ninja myth armor.

Heres the thing about THF, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to add it to the game at a later date. Yoshi said it doesn't fit in to the Cities, That's fine, Doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to add a Thieves Hideout somewhere later. Also have to think about it, Why add 2 new DPS classes at once? We still need a new tank Job desperately, A healer would be great, Need Musketeer.
