I still fully expect them to tuned to some level of 'yeah, we think the players will be able to beat this' before they actually release it to us
If they were going to tune it, it would just be Extreme and have altered loot.
Greetings,
The “Brutal” version of the Second Coil of Bahamut turns will share the same clear flags as the regular version, so clearing it will count towards your progress for the week. Also, if you cannot clear the brutal version of turn 1, for example, you’ll be able to leave and try the regular version. The rewards will be the same and this content is only there for the bravest to test their might.![]()

I think the rewards should instead be +5ilvl on the pieces & a slightly different color-shade or sheen on them, title for full completion... or 1 or the other, a title isn't enough.Greetings,

Also, we need Brutal Labyrinth of the Ancients.
I heard your original design was so outlandishly difficult, you had to tone it down a ton.
Put that in the game!!!

So basically Atomos styled fights from start to finish. They lowered the difficulty in CT by making the fights less alliance reliant (one party can't progress unless another party is doing something that let's them).

That's good news. I didn't want to get locked into a harder version simply for trying to attempt the content if there's no additional benefit for clearing it.Greetings,

Brutal mode is just for bragging rights.
I assume probably the only fc to clear it any time soon is BG.
If BG can't do it then probably no one can.
Cuz they r the best of the best.
Hands down! We can't possibly imagine to beat it without strat vids if you don't spend countless hours of wiping and learning.
Soooo...its
-storymode
-hardmode
-extreme mode
-brutal mode
I wonder if the devs will make brutal versions for the primals and dungeons.

Stop recycling your content. It is starting to get old really fast.
Play nice.

They could very easily not add extreme and brutal versions of fights. That wouldn't magically make new content come out. It takes a lot less work to tweak a fight to make it harder than to create new content. Having recycled content gives us something to do, so stop complaining.

No, making recycled content does take company time and money. This time could be better spent giving us more quality new content which does not need recycling in order to keep us busy. Slower released content with more meaning is more important than Monster Hunter style fights with different difficulty modes for no reason other than to buy time.
Play nice.

It think myself and several others can disagree that Monster Hunter fights are awesome. Coil is anything but a Monster Hunter style of fight let alone the upcoming brutal mode. As for time. They take the coding for the original versions they made, program a quest. Test the quest. Release. Not NEARLY as much work as you think. No, making recycled content does take company time and money.
