    was at 0 too, then a min ago i was zoooming threw it went from 5hours to 2minitues left and then baaaaam, went right back down to 0 again. ffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuu. now it at 1.5hours still ...wtf

    Lol that sucks. Mine started downloading at 60kb/s now so it says i have 5hours left...

    But yeah, opening in torrent has seemed to make a big difference. I'm D/Ling at 300kb/s instead of 60.

    how do torent work? is it easy one click after i download the torrent? or is some crap i need to find folders and stick it in?

    Just use utorrent seriously SE official patcher sucks- bad! After 2 hours on SE I was at 9% at 0.0 and 0.0. Stopped download, grabbed file, put it into utorrent and 10 mins later was downloading at 950mb/s. Finished in less than 30 mins. Course it doesnt matter cause you still can't login but at leas the patching process is done!

    just go the folder that says "metainfo" and click on the relevant patch and then it downloads into your utorrent folder of choice. then copy/paste it into the ffxiv patch folder

    I turn off windows firewall for the duration of the download and it makes all my download client problems go away.
